With no real travel plans made for this summer the wanderer within me is getting truly fed up! I have family spread across the globe and I grew up visiting them frequently, and now I completely adore hopping over to somewhere new. I don’t think there’s anything better than finding cool places in a brand new city.
Two summers ago I went interrailing across Europe and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I started in Paris, and then travelled on through Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Zagreb, so I was able to get a real flavour for all the different vibes and cultures of each city. Even the sweaty, no air-con, eight hour train journeys were not enough to put me off and the moment I’m off my student budget I’ll be straight back out travelling and meeting people. For now though I’ll have to resign myself to lusting over old photos, saving the pennies and keeping everything crossed for good weather here in England (unlikely).
Where would be the best place to visit?
